The following is an email I sent to the Realms OOC list, but really it applies to a much broader audience then just them…

Greetings Denizens of the Realms Community,

As you may (or may not be) aware this years EGC and EHC meetings were (will
be) held in Nashua NH at 45 High St in a building owned by Harbor
Homes, Inc. Harbor Homes, is a non-profit company for provides many
different types of services to the homeless and mentally ill. What you may
not know is that they also provide transitional housing for homeless
Veterans, varies support groups for alcoholics, training seminars and
workshops to provide individuals with a better skill set to improve lives.

More information about the company and its subsidiaries can be found at:

http://www.harborhomes.org

Although they gave us the use of the facilities for free, I thought that it
might be nice if we consider donating some money to the cause(s) that they
support. Harbor Homes (and Affiliates) is a worthy cause in this day and
age where most would prefer to turn a blind eye to the problems that the
citizens of this country face.

Did you know that a $115 donation can house individuals in their Emergency
Shelter for six nights?

Just last year they opened a brand new Veterans Transitional Housing unit
for honorably discharged homeless veterans and their families here in Nashua
with 20 units called Buckingham Place. One of the first homeless
veteran housing programs to shelter men, women, and children under one roof
in the country. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of the great things
that this company has done in its 25 year history.

Thank you for your time, if you are interested in donating please feel free
to do so through their webpage, or contact me.

Proud to be an employee for almost 5 years now,

Neil S. Tozier
