The Minotaur is a fearsome creature from Greek mythology with the body of a man and the head of a bull, born from King Minos’s wife Pasiphaë and a sacred bull sent by Poseidon. Kept in the Labyrinth designed by Daedalus, the Minotaur was fed sacrifices from Athens until the hero Theseus, aided by Ariadne’s thread, entered the maze and slew the monster. The Minotaur symbolizes chaos, punishment, and the consequences of defying the gods.
