Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh was a legendary king of the ancient Sumerian city of Uruk, believed to have ruled around the early third millennium BCE. He is best known as the hero of The Epic of Gilgamesh, one of the oldest surviving works of literature. The epic portrays him as a powerful but flawed ruler whose friendship with Enkidu transforms him and sets him on a quest for wisdom. After Enkidu’s death, Gilgamesh searches desperately for immortality, only to learn that eternal life is reserved for the gods. His story reflects early Mesopotamian views on kingship, mortality, and the limits of human power, themes that continue to resonate across cultures and eras. He recently appeared in Smite and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (2024).

Awakening III: Place Barrier on this hero equal to 15% of the damage inflicted.

When an ally or enemy activates their Ultimate Ability, increase this hero's Divinity by 10%.
