Lady Xoc was an influential Maya queen of the 8th century CE, known from carved stone monuments at the ancient city of Yaxchilán in present-day Mexico. She was the wife of Shield Jaguar II and is especially remembered for her role in important royal rituals that reinforced political power and divine authority. Through detailed inscriptions and artwork, Lady Xoc is shown as a powerful and respected figure, highlighting the significant political and religious roles elite women could hold in Maya civilization. Lady Xoc was one of the three starter heroes in Alpha.
