Imhotep

Imhotep was an ancient Egyptian polymath who lived around 2650–2600 BCE. He served as a high priest, architect, physician, and advisor to Pharaoh Djoser and is credited with designing Egypt’s first pyramid, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. Later, he was deified as a god of medicine and wisdom, becoming one of the few historical figures in Egypt to be worshiped as a deity. In popular media, Imhotep is often known as the villainous mummy in The Mummy (1999), The Mummy Returns (2001). He is also referenced in Assassin's Creed Origins (2017) where players encounter references to his architectural legacy.
